A Taste of Christmas in July .. Tablescape

Felecia @ Playing Dishes is having a Christmas in July Tablescape party every Saturday this month, and she has graciously invited me to take part. I have been dying to pull out all that new stuff I bought on clearance after Christmas last year.. but sadly I haven’t had a chance to do it because I was so busy getting Ashley and her Dad ready for Wildlife Camp last week and then getting her ready to head out again this next week. Hopefully I my big strong husband will have a chance later this weekend to get my Christmas stuff out. So until then I put together some pictures from The Ladies Christmas Tea that we had at our Church this past Christmas. At the Christmas Tea .. each lady is in charge of decorating her own table and selling tickets for her table. Here are a few of those beautiful tables.

The tasty snack I left for Santa..

I wish I knew who’s table each of these were .. so I could give them credit.. but sadly I don’t. This first table was one of my favorites.. She had clear plastic plates for everyone to place atop of her fine china for their dinner meal. Great idea I thought.. she didn’t have to worry about them going through the wash in the kitchen.. the men folk were in charge of KP duties and dish washing lol. I will be doing this for mine this year.

Loved all of the Green & Red.. Those crystal candle holders are amazingly beautiful as is the green stemware. She had little gift bags filled with mint chocolates for her guests. Notice that her chargers actually match her china pattern.. She has used a large gold platter as her charger plate for this setting. Isn’t that awesome..

This next table was also beautiful in gold & silver. Each of her guest left with one of the sparklie glitter balls as a gift.

A Whimsy Pink & Green set.. love the color combo and those green dishes.

Gold & White.. Each guest received a long stem red rose.

Red, Green & Gold Table.. This was the largest table in the room.. each guest received a small Yankee Candle jar.

Red & White .. Loved the snowflake gift boxes.. and those peppermint candles.

I’m sorry I didn’t have more or better photos.. but this at least gives you a lil taste of everyones style. And speaking of style.. make sure you head over and visit Felecia and all those participating in style today.

  8. Debbie - I remember your after Christmas purchases post. That was about the first time I started looking at all of these wonderful blogs. I too, have a "couple" of bags full to the top of after Christmas bargins to use this year. We are going to be on a Christmas house tour and I am on the look out for all kinds of ideas. Thanks for sharing.

  9. Debbie, these are simply GORGEOUS!!! I can't wait to see what YOU do, with YOUR flair. Um, I think I may have to come to your house at Christmas time - or really anytime. Please start running a Bed & Breakfast for those of us starved for elegance, grace, and beauty!!!!

  14. After looking at your chocolate I now want some but I don't have any chocolate so I have to settle for chocolate pudding LOL!

All of those tables were absolutely stunning. I've bookmarked your page to come back to in December so that I can see your table. I can tell it's going to be beautiful.
