~Happy Wednesday Everyone~
Stop by and visit Susan and
everyone participating today.
My spoiled lil baby
soaking up the sun..
have arrived.
I just love their bright yellow color..
and got so excited when they
finally reached my yard about
open in a new window you can
get a larger view of them..
Hopefully soon I'll be able to get
a lil closer and take better shots.
around here and
this morning there had to be at least
60 out there .. all in the trees and on
the ground eating up the scraps.
Of course Ashley had the camera
with her at school today for
Spirit Week.. so I didn't get pictures.
Hopefully I'll have another
chance tomorrow.
Happy Outdoor Wednesday Debbie! I love these birds too! Thanks for sharing your photos.~ Susan
ReplyDeleteThe gold finches are so pretty, how neat to watch them in your yard! Cindy
ReplyDeleteOh, they are so pretty. How fun to watch them. I think I would just sit and enjoy. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteYour gold finches are just adorable. They look very pretty on your feeder. Looks like your little dog has the perfect spot in the sun!
ReplyDeleteDebbie - Your finches are so lovely! We have them here in Missouri also. They can eat a lot of thistle. I told my husband that we were spending more on finch food than we were for ourselves. He told me just to cut out more coupons!!LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Charla
Love the finches. How can you not? I need to invite a few more birdies to my yard. Happy Outdoor Wednesday.

ReplyDeleteDebbie, You really do get a lot of yellow finches. I bet they love your mature trees. Your doggie looks like he loves to be outside. So.. cute!!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie...
ReplyDeleteThanks for stoppping by and commenting on little Kayleigh. It is on one hand sad...and on the other happy. It's heart-breaking for her family.
~Blessings,

Oh how beautiful to have such incredible birds in your yard! Thanks for sharing with us! Oh, Debbie? You made such a cute little button of my blog. Is it just a photo montage or is there code for it? I'd love to grab it and use it on my blog if so. :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I so want to watch those finches with you! Great shots of your yard. It's so inviting!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, my chihuahua's are sun worshippers too! I love to watch them soaking up the sun! Great pictures of the finches too! Happy Outdoor Wednesday! ♥ Diane

We get the finches in their drab winter coat -- they summer further north.
ReplyDeleteI love the Goldfinch too. I think they are so beautiful. We had them in the winter when their coats were dull, then at the beginning of the spring when their coats changed. I even saw them with nest material in their mouths but haven't seen them in weeks now.
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
Your "spoiled" puppy is adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove the finches - I wish they would visit me. I have plenty of sunflower seeds on the bird buffet.
Lisa
Oh, those finches are so pretty! There's a hook off a tree off our porch that I assume used to have a bird feeder on it. I've thought about putting one on it again!
ReplyDeleteGold finches are such a happy bird, aren't they? I just love to watch them flutter through the air.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, your pictures are wonderful. I love your little dog!
ReplyDeleteHappy Outdoor Wednesday.
Barb
Aw, your little furbaby is a cutie pie :0)
ReplyDeleteYellow finches are so pretty and how great that you get to enjoy them. We have "house finches" here and every year they build their nests here in my patio. I'm seeing more and more of a variety of birds around here and I'm loving it, but I can't help but wonder "what's changing" that they are making their way "here" into suburbia.
The golden finches in your backyard are so cute! We have finches too but not all colorful like what you have. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty birds. I love all the hummingbirds we have around the house.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day,
Jennifer
HAPPY OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY DEBBIE,
ReplyDeleteMY DAUGHTER HAS A BLACK CHIHUAHUA WITH THE OUTLINE OF A WHITE HEART ON HIS CHEST...SHE CALLS HIM ROMEO.
ASIDE FROM A BLUEBIRD, WHICH I HAVE NEVER SEEN IN PERSON...THE GOLD FINCHES ARE MY FAVORITE. HERE IN MY PART OF OKLAHOMA THEY SEND SCOUTS EARLY OCTOBER AND THEY STAY UNTIL ABOUT NOW....VERY FEW REMAINING AND THEY WON'T COME BACK TO FALL. THISTLE...THISTLE...THISTLE...LITTLE BLACK, TINY HULLS ON THE GROUND LIKE ACRES OF PEPPER...LOL
I MISS THEM BUT ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO THEIR RETURN
THANK YOU FOR THE BEAUTIFUL PICTURES.
