It's Outdoor Wednesday
over at Susan's Place
Be sure to stop by and see what she
and many others are sharing with us all today.
The Survival of Spring in Georgia..
The dafidols took a beating from our
recent gift of snow here in Ga.
I thought fer sure these lil guys were gonners.
This picture was taken early as the snow started
to fall and after being covered for 2 days with 4 inches of snow
They...
bounced right back up to life by this morning !
A lil dirty and bent .. but still beautiful.
We still have a smidgin of snow on the ground in
certain areas of the yard .. and even ole Frosty is
still standing.
Despite all that.. Spring has returned.
The critters were all out & about this morning..
As I watched from my bay window I saw the
Squirrels were chasing one another..
Flirting & Playing.
Others were
fillin their bellies full from
the corn buffet provided from the
Redneck Monster Feeder out back.
I even caught
this lil fella robbing my coconut husk inserts
from some old hanging baskets.
There were bluebirds and red birds
and even a few golden finches
BUT
of course as I went outside
everyone ran off or flew away except for
A black capped chickadee who
was busy eating breakfast.
Thank You for stopping by
to visit my addition to
Outdoor Wednesday...
and a special Thanks to Susan
for hosting this fun event for us all
each week.
Happy Outdoor Wednesday Debbie! Good to see the daffodil survived! I am worried some of my plants may have been damaged by the snow and cold! Thanks for sharing your photos.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post and I love the little bird eating so dainty. My hubby put out suet and a pile of blackbirds looked like a Hitchcock movie on our front lawn.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday

It is a mircle that plants can survive harsh winter snow but somehow they do. Thanks for sharing your photos. Happy Outdoor Wednesday!
