Thrifty Treasures & Met Monday .. Chargers & Silver

Just a few things to show y’all this week..

All were Goodwill finds from the summer ..

First this 2 tier silver stand.. This turned out to be silver .. not plated! I was soooo excited because I paid less than $2.00. Here’s a lil glimpse of what it looked like midway of cleaning.. it was tarnished really bad.

Silver Tray.. Goodwill .. paid $1.74 for it. Before cleaning….

Both pieces after cleaning.. Turned out BEAUTIFUL!

I even used them in a tea tablescape this past summer.

Also found these gold chargers .. Goodwill .. 1/2 price color of the week .. for a set of 4 I paid .85 for the set.

I already had gold ones.. but needed white .. so out came the spray paint .. and Viola .. White Chargers.

  10. Debbie - What great treasures! The silver was a treat. I love that you painted the chargers. The past couple of weeks I have been looking for some brown ones and I can't seem to find them. It looks like I am going to have to hit the resale shops and the Walmart spray paint aisle.
Have a great Monday and thanks for sharing.

  19. Love the white charger! I find a lot of them but they are never the color I want. Now I know I can buy them and paint them. I'm trying a spray painted shelf today, crossing my fingers it turns out as great as your charger.
